National Vulvodynia Association

Stanley Marinoff, M.D., a pioneer in diagnosis and treatment of vulvodynia, taught thousands of gynecologists to recognize vulvodynia as a legitimate medical disorder. In his honor, we are announcing the Marinoff Vulvodynia Clinic Award to encourage health care providers to establish vulvovaginal pain clinics in underserved areas. The award should be used to set up a weekly clinic in an institutional setting.

3. a letter endorsing the clinic from the appropriate department chairperson.
